Mr. Humbert Costas Garcia Humbert has two engineering degrees, Aeronautical andIndustrial, a IESE Executive Education and 18 years' experience in aviation managinghigh performance teams in competitive environments.His professional career combinesexperience in aircraft manufacturer, airlines and consulting, all multinationalcompanies.In particular, he has been Director of Safety and Quality and Director ofOperations Planning of an airline with a turnover of 600M€ and +1000 employees inEurope, responsible for ensuring operations´ regulations compliance auditing alloperations´ areas, lecturer for more for more than six years in Airline Operations andSafety Management Masters for a top ranked European aviation university, and memberof the founding operations team of an airline (Volotea, 2012) with a high knowledge ofairline company culture. Since March 2023, he is working as a Consultant for IATA.

Mr. Garcia has lectured for over six years in Airline Operations and Safety ManagementMasters programs at a top-ranked European aviation university. His academic workfocuses on sharing practical industry knowledge and ensuring compliance withoperational regulations.

Mr. Garcia has 18 years of experience in aviation, managing high-performance teams incompetitive environments. His career spans aircraft manufacturing, airlines, andconsulting with multinational companies. He has held roles such as Director of Safetyand Quality and Director of Operations Planning for a major European airline, and was afounding operations team member of Volotea. Since March 2023, he has been workingas a Consultant for IATA.
