Introduction

The students of the American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland (AUS) are the heart of our institution. Drawn from over 40 nationalities, they form a dynamic, multicultural community united by a shared ambition to build meaningful careers in international business. At AUS, you will study alongside peers who bring diverse perspectives, professional experiences, and cultural backgrounds to every classroom discussion, group project, and social gathering.

Our students are not passive recipients of knowledge. They are active participants in a learning environment that values critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world application. Whether they arrive directly from secondary school or bring prior professional experience, AUS students share a common drive to challenge themselves, expand their global networks, and graduate with the dual Swiss and American credentials that set them apart in the international job market.

Who are AUS students?

AUS attracts ambitious individuals from every continent who seek a rigorous, internationally recognized education in a boutique setting. Our students value personalized attention, direct access to faculty, and the opportunity to earn two degrees simultaneously through our partnership with Tiffin University in the United States. They are future business leaders, entrepreneurs, analysts, and strategists who understand that the global economy demands both technical expertise and cross-cultural fluency.
