AUS is committed to fostering the growth in diversity through our merit scholarships and need-based bursaries, which are awarded to candidates who have applied for and accepted an offer to join the AUS Bachelor or Master Degree program.

AUS Scholarships
Merit-based scholarship - up to CHF 30K
Criteria:
Academic Excellence: A strong academic foundation, demonstrated by a minimum GPA of 3.2 (or equivalent) in your previous studies. Leadership Potential: A clear ambition to leverage your AUS Bachelors Degree to pursue a leadership role and make a positive impact in your field. Professional Achievement: A track record of meaningful career progression and the ability to bring valuable professional experience to the classroom.
Global Perspective: International exposure and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
Community Engagement: Successful recipients are expected to contribute to the AUS community by engaging in administrative activities, supporting the institution's vibrant campus life.

Scholarship for women - up to CHF 40K
Criteria:
- Female candidate aged 18-29
- Demonstrate excellence in previous academic and/or professional endeavors, including GPA or GMAT/GRE scores/ Personal academic and work experience and interview will be considered in absence of GMAT/GRE scores.
- Convince us of your ambition and ability to use your education to pursue a leadership role
- Career progression and international exposure
- Ability to contribute to the overall learning experience of your class
- Performance during the Assessment Day

Scholarship for women in leadership - up to CHF 30K
AUS is committed to advancing gender equity in business leadership and empowering talented women from emerging economies to access world-class education. The Women in Leadership Scholarship provides financial support of up to CHF 30,000 to exceptional female candidates from developing countries who demonstrate outstanding potential to drive positive change in their communities and industries.
Criteria:
- Applicants must be female and hold citizenship from a developing country as classified by the United Nations or World Bank.
- A strong academic record demonstrating intellectual curiosity and commitment to excellence.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience with evidence of leadership initiative or entrepreneurial drive.
- A clear vision for how an AUS education will enable you to create meaningful impact in your home country or region.
- Demonstrated financial need, with limited access to alternative funding sources.
Selection Criteria:
- Academic merit and professional achievements.
- Leadership potential and commitment to advancing women in business.
- Clarity of purpose and a compelling post-graduation plan.
- Potential to serve as an ambassador for AUS and inspire future generations of women leaders.
Application Requirements:
Submit a personal statement (750 words) addressing the following: Describe a challenge you have overcome as a woman in your professional journey, and explain how an AUS dual Bachelor Degree will equip you to become a catalyst for change in your community or industry.
Two letters of recommendation, including at least one from a current or former employer.
Proof of citizenship from an eligible developing country.
High Achievers Scholarships - up to CHF 30K
For candidates with exceptional academic records (top 10% of their class, GPA 3.7+) from accredited universities worldwide. Rewards intellectual achievement and scholarly distinction.
Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships - Up to CHF 25,000
First-Generation Graduate Scholarship – Up to CHF 25,000 For candidates who are the first in their family to pursue a graduate degree, recognizing the additional challenges they have overcome.
STEM to Business Scholarship – Up to CHF 25,000
For candidates with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics seeking to transition into business leadership.
Career Changer Scholarship – Up to CHF 15,000
For professionals making a significant industry pivot, bringing diverse perspectives to the classroom.
Swiss Excellence Scholarship – Up to CHF 30,000
For Swiss nationals or permanent residents demonstrating commitment to contributing to the Swiss economy and community.
EU Citizen Excellence Scholarship – Up to CHF 30,000
For EU nationals or permanent residents demonstrating commitment to contributing to the EU economy and community.
Sports Excellence Scholarship – Up to CHF 20,000
For student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional talent in sports alongside a commitment to academic excellence. This scholarship supports individuals who have competed at a regional, national, or international level and seek to balance their athletic pursuits with a world-class business education.
Application Requirements:
- A portfolio or "Sports CV" detailing athletic achievements, rankings, and awards.
- Two letter of recommendation from a coach or athletic federation.
- A personal statement (2500 words) on how athletic discipline translates to business leadership.
- An interview with the Admissions Committee to discuss academic and athletic goals.
The Bright Futures Fellowship – Up to CHF 84,000
The Bright Futures Fellowship is our most prestigious award, designed for extraordinarily talented individuals who demonstrate academic brilliance and professional potential. AUS is committed to removing financial barriers for the world’s brightest minds by covering 100% of Bachelor’s degree tuition fees. For students with exceptional academic records, proven work experience, and advanced English proficiency, we provide a pathway to leadership. Fellows also gain a priority pathway to extend their funding into an AUS Master’s program upon graduation.
Application Requirements:
- A 3,000-word letter of motivation.
- Two letters of recommendation from a current or previous high school.
- One letter of recommendation from a previous employer or voluntary organization.
- Copies of parents/guardian's income slips for the past three months.
- Two mandatory interviews: one with the Dean and one with the President of AUS.
