President's Message

The AUS history is characterized by continued transformation, growth, and improvement in a world of tremendous change. The next chapter of the AUS journey is characterized by substantial growth on all fronts. Internally, we are on an accelerated path of capacity building, enforcing our structure and leadership based on principles of shared governance, transparency, and predictability. We have embraced a quality management model that places the enhancement of the student learning experience at its heart, incorporating the voices of students, faculty, administrative staff, alumni, and external stakeholders into our teaching and learning strategy and program review processes.

Externally, we are strengthening new partnerships as part of our community engagement strategy, building on existing networks of alumni and representatives of the world of work to ensure our educational offer is connected to the latest business developments and responds to diverse labor market needs.

Globally, our institution joins the efforts of all individuals and organizations that have shifted their operations to a more sustainable way of work. We are committing to reviewing course and program learning objectives on a regular basis to ensure they are inclusive of sustainability competencies, and to prioritizing environmentally conscious practices in our daily operations.

With enthusiasm and optimism toward our future.
