Applicants entering
a bachelor's degree.
These requirements apply to all applicants to AUS three-year bachelor's programs — Swiss applicants, international applicants, and IB graduates.
Applicants holding a Swiss Maturity, Professional Maturity, or Specialized Maturity certificate.
Applicants presenting a foreign upper secondary school-leaving certificate considered equivalent to the Swiss Maturity.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, Diploma Courses, and Career-related Programme applicants, assessed case by case.

To be considered for admission to a bachelor's degree, candidates must hold one of the following.
- Swiss Maturity Certificate (Maturität, Matura)
- Swiss Professional Maturity Certificate (Maturité professionnelle) with “Passerelle”A complementary examination via SERI is required before admission.
- Swiss Specialized Maturity Certificate (Maturité spécialisée) recognized throughout Switzerland, with “Passerelle”A complementary examination via SERI is required before admission.
- Foreign upper secondary school-leaving certificate considered equivalentAssessed against the CRUS recommendations and the Lisbon Recognition Convention: substantial correspondence to the Swiss Maturity in subjects, hours, and length of schooling.
- International Baccalaureate (IB)DP, Diploma Programme Courses, and Career-related Programme are considered on a case-by-case basis by the Admissions Committee.
Candidates with a Swiss Professional or Specialized Maturity must undergo a complementary examination to be eligible. Contact the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), which is responsible for the examination.
English,
at B2 level.
Applicants whose native language is not English and whose secondary instruction was not in English must provide proof of proficiency. All submitted exam results must be no older than two years.

Documents issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by notarized English translations, arranged at your own expense, before the application can be reviewed as complete.

AUS operates rolling admissions: applications are reviewed and decisions made continuously throughout the year. Exact application deadlines per intake are published by AUS.
Prepare early if you need immigration processing or certified translations.
Availability depends on your chosen program and the academic calendar.
Your Offer Letter states the next available term unless you request another.
After a positive decision, return the signed Offer Letter, signed Student Agreement, and Admission Fee proof within 10 calendar days.
