The program provides Swiss students with a career-focused pathway and international students with English-based business education in Switzerland’s global environment.

AUS follows an applied assessment model using case studies, projects, simulations, presentations, research, and professional reports. This approach connects theory with practice, helping students build confidence and solve real business challenges.

Dual Swiss and US Degree

Graduate with two degrees. From two continents.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at AUS is offered as a dual degree in collaboration with Tiffin University in the United States. Through this partnership, students have the opportunity to graduate with two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from AUS and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Tiffin University.

To complete the dual degree pathway, students must successfully complete the required AUS and Tiffin University courses. Students complete AUS courses on campus in Switzerland, while Tiffin University courses may be completed on campus or remotely.

Upon successful completion of the dual degree program, students graduate in their chosen specialization with a BSBA from AUS and a BBA from Tiffin University. Tiffin University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission in the United States, supporting the international credibility and recognition of the degree pathway.

Students who excel in the practical labs that are part of the hospitality specialization can apply for a paid internship — a required, core part of the program.

The internship gives students hands-on experience in a real hospitality setting, covering everything from guest relations to day-to-day business operations. It appears on the official transcript, and students write a short reflective report on what they learned. Internship plans must be shared with the school at least four weeks in advance.

Core Requirements

To qualify for this program, applicants must have successfully completed secondary education in their home country, earning a diploma or leaving certificate that grants university-level eligibility.

Language

English C-Level. CEFR B2 level considered after completing an oral interview.

Education

Secondary school diploma with good academic achievements, or IELTS Overall 5.5 with no single element below 4.5.
