This route is for degree-holders applying to any AUS master's specialization — recent graduates, working professionals, and AUS alumni continuing directly.

Applying directly after completing a bachelor's degree.

01Choose your program

Pick the program that matches your goals — three intakes per year.

02Check requirements

Confirm you meet this route's academic and English criteria.

03Prepare documents

Application form, ID, records, motivation letter, two references.

04Submit application

Apply online, by email, or by post and pay the CHF 250 application fee.

05Admissions review

Completeness check, eligibility assessment, then your online interview.

06Receive decision

Unconditional, conditional, deferred, or rejected — with next steps.

07Complete enrollment

Sign the Offer Letter and Student Agreement; pay the CHF 1'500 fee.

08Visa and arrival

Where applicable, the Swiss visa process begins after you receive your acceptance letter.

Academic

A bachelor's degree from a recognized or accredited university or higher education institution.

Language

English proficiency per your program — typically IELTS 6.0 with no element below 5.5.

Documents

Application form, passport/ID, degree records, motivation letter, two references, notarized translations where needed.

Fees

CHF 250 Application Fee when applying; CHF 1'500 Admission Fee within 10 days of the Offer Letter.

05Deadlines

Rolling review,
three intakes.

AUS operates rolling admissions: applications are reviewed and decisions made continuously throughout the year. Exact application deadlines per intake are published by AUS.

January intake

Prepare early if you need immigration processing or certified translations.

April intake

Availability depends on your chosen program and the academic calendar.

September intake

Your Offer Letter states the next available term unless you request another.

Acceptance window

After a positive decision, return the signed Offer Letter, signed Student Agreement, and Admission Fee proof within 10 calendar days.

Application Fee — CHF 250

Due when applying. Non-refundable. Waivers are considered under special circumstances on a case-by-case basis via study@aus.swiss.

Admission Fee — CHF 1'500

Confirms your place, due within 10 days of the Offer Letter. Non-refundable. Tuition follows the schedule in your Offer Letter.
