Applicants whose first
language isn't English.
English is the primary language of instruction and collaboration at AUS. Applicants whose native language is not English and whose primary language of instruction in secondary education was not English must provide proof of proficiency.
Native speakers, and applicants whose primary language of instruction in secondary education was English.
All other applicants, through one of the accepted tests below or an alternative assessment considered by the committee.
All submitted exam results must be no older than two years at the time of application.

The Swiss visa list
is separate.
The Swiss student visa is granted either to students whose primary language of instruction in secondary education was English, or to students providing proof through the following options. Results must be no older than two years.
